If MECH5 was unable to automatically detect a ECU, then you may have the chance to manually select the ECU if there are are multiple to choose from in our database.
Please follow the below steps while connected to the vehicle:
Step 1: Click Vehicle Information
Step 2: Click display ECU's
Step 3: Click on the ECU that you would like to change
If there are multiple available the 'CHOOSE ECU' button will appear. Please click on this and select the ECU.
If there is not a 'CHOOSE ECU' button then multiple ECU's are not available.
Please try performing a 'DeepScan' by following these steps:
Click on 'CONNECT ECU' button then click 'CLICK HERE IF YOU CAN'T FIND AN ECU'.
If this doesn't find the ECU you are looking for then its not in our data-base currently. Please CLICK HERE to inform our support team
