Why perform a vehicle health report?
MECH5 scan's all ECU's detected on a vehicle for DTC's and Snapshots.
Evey health report is stored in the cloud server. This means it builds up your vehicle data history for each individual VIN number so you can access and analyze every vehicle's historical data record (including all DTCs ever read and Live Data Snapshots ever taken).
How do I perform an MECH5 Health Report?
Step 1: Connect to the vehicle as normal
Step 2: Click the 'Vehicle Health' button
Step 3: Click the 'Start Health Check' button.
This will pop out a window asking if you want to preform just a 'fault report' or 'snapshot report' or if you select both it will do a 'full health check'.
(We advise to select both, it only takes around 2 minutes depending on the number of ECU's present)
Step 4: After the health check is complete. It will show ECU's with DTC's in red. You can click the arrow beside each ECU to connect to it or select the () 'clipboard icon' to view the DTC's.
You can view any health reports that have been performed on that vehicle and print these to a PDF or email them to your customers or own email addresses.
